Preface |
I choose to see things as they are, not as they appear.
Can a Lie be so Big? Have you ever watched The Matrix (1999)? What did you think of those billions of people going about their lives each day plugged into an illusion? Did it ever cross your mind you might be one of them? I walked out of the movie identifying more with the hero Neo than with the crowds still hooked in. Outside I found my bike was gone. As it turns out that was not the only thing I was missing. It is possible that you, me, and 8 billion others live in an illusion so pervasive it is hard to see? What if the discord you feel in the world is the direct result of living this lie? What if the challenges to health, relationships and finances are also expressions of this illusion? This book is not about the lie. Neither is it about trying to change it. It is about what I found on the other side. But first I want to give you a sense of just how big this lie is. If you are anything like me even this brief tour can be unsettling. Nobody appreciates having their world shaken. I am not asking you to believe what I say. You can follow the references and do your own research. But stay with me. The very blatancy of the lie in current global events suggests to me that something is up. Are we at a tipping point in the life of humanity the likes of which has not been seen for 3,500 years? I think so. But in the end it is not the illusion that matters. It is what lies beyond. Take a journey with me and it may lead to the most liberating experience you have ever had. Diving into the Matrix First some snippets of the lie we take as human society. I have deliberately ignored the global events that began in late 2019 because when you are in the midst of change of this magnitude seeing the wood for the trees can be tricky. For example where do you think humans came from? In school you were probably taught humans evolved from apes. Today the theory of evolution is taught by teachers to millions of children every day. Is this a lie? Evolution paints a picture of gradual changes over long periods of time. In other words it is saying that on Earth anything that takes place does so slowly and from one small change to the next. If like me this was what you were taught it may surprise you to learn that all over the world there are records of a period in history when a year was 360 days rather than the 365 and a quarter days we have now. For example: [In Egypt] the Ebers Paprus shows that under the Eighteenth Dynasty the calendar had a year of 360 days divided into twelve months of thirty days each.[1] The ancient Romans also reckoned 360 days to the year. Plutarch wrote in his Life of Numa that in the time of Romulus, in the eighth century [B.C.] the Romans had a year of 360 days only.[2] The month of the Israelites, from the fifteenth to the eighth century before the present era, was equal to thirty days, and twelve months comprised a year; there is no mention of months shorter than thirty days, nor of a year longer than twelve months. That the month was composed of thirty days is evidenced by Deuteronomy 34:8 and 21.13 and Numbers 20.29…[3] Now whatever the force capable of changing the rotation of the Earth from 360 days to our present 365 and a quarter days was no small event. Nor did it happen millions of years ago. So why do we as a society teach a theory that paints a picture of the past where nothing took place except small changes over unimaginably long periods of time? In Alaska gold is mined out of the gravel and “muck” from the Tanana Valley and its tributaries north of Mount McKinley. This muck is a frozen mass of animals and trees. F.C. Hibben of the University of New Mexico writes: Although the formation of the deposits of muck is not clear, there is ample evidence that at least portions of this material were deposited under catastrophic conditions. Mammal remains are for the most part dismembered and disarticulated, even though some fragments yet retain, in their frozen state, portions of ligaments, skin, hair, and flesh. Twisted and torn trees are piled in splintered masses…At least four considerable layers of volcanic ash may be traced in the deposits, although they are extremely warped and distorted…[4] My guess is that your biology teacher never talked about the forces unleashed that could mash animals and trees together across a wide area of Alaska in your evolution classes. Nor that these events were not in some long distant past. Flint spear points have been found in the muck a hundred or more feet down indicating that whatever catastrophe took place happened in human times.[5] Are you getting a sense that things you have taken as real, perhaps without a second thought may in fact be nothing of the kind? We could as easily be talking about geology[6] or astronomy.[7] If you are getting the sense that much of what we take as real is actually illusion it will probably not surprise you to learn that when Immanuel Velikovsky shared these findings in two books published in 1950 and 1955 he was vilified by the scientific community even though many of the predictions he made based on his research were subsequently proven to be correct. The Pervasive Illusion I am suggesting almost everything up to this moment you have thought about yourself and the world you live in may in fact be a lie, an illusion. As we will soon see, stories about our past such as the theory of evolution go to the heart of how I believe this lie came about. It took me decades to come to terms with the illusion. I can divide the growing realisation into 4 phases: Just an idea – At university I had the opportunity to study Buddhism, Christianity and other religions. I read about the Buddhist concept of samsara, illusion but it remained just that, an interesting idea with no real relevance to my life. Heroic outrage – In the 1980’s I protested against nuclear weapons. I have, and still do, grow organic food without chemical fertilizers and sprays. More recently in 2020 I sought solutions to the financial crisis by advocating new currency models. In other words I saw parts of the suffering caused by the illusion and did my best to put things right. But I never dreamed it could be as pervasive as the Buddhists teach. Denial – Side by side with my heroic quest to right the wrongs of the world has been denial. I refused to see aspects of the illusion. What I am going to touch on about Unacknowledged Special Access Projects and contact with higher civilisations fall into this category. It took a shocking event, global lockdown on the pretext of keeping people safe from the flu to force me to find out more. How profoundly grateful I now am for these events as they continue to unfold! Without them the story I am about to share with you would never have happened. Delight – I realise now it is not the illusion that is important. It is what lies beyond. The suffering caused by living in an upside-down world provides all the motivation I need to find a way out. I no longer see myself as heroically righting wrongs. You can see what I mean in the chapters on innocence and forgiveness. I am now focused on making the most of the opportunities life presents. Paradoxically accepting the pervasiveness of the illusion gives me this freedom. I hope you can relate to some or all of these phases. As the ability to see the pervasiveness of the illusion has been important in my journey let us check out a few more facets before the story begins. The Food We Eat What about the food we eat? In his now classic work, Weston A. Price, an American dentist in the 1930’s travelled to areas of the world where people were still eating natural, locally produced foods instead of modern chemically raised processed alternatives. From the Outer Hebrides in North West Scotland to the Chimu in Peru Price found the same pattern: people eating a natural diet were healthier, more beautiful, stronger and lived to an old age. As soon as modern process foods were introduced profound changes took place in just a few years. These included deformities, rampant tooth and gum decay and reproductive problems. In Alaska Price met with Dr Josef Roming, a surgeon who had worked among the Eskimos and Indians. Confirming his own findings Price comments: Among the many items of information of great interest furnished by Dr Roming were facts that fitted well into the … picture of … degenerative processes with modernization. He stated that in his thirty-six years of contact with these people he had never seen a case of malignant disease among the truly primitive Eskimos and Indians, although it frequently occurs when they become modernized.[8] [1] S. Sharpe The Degree of Canopus (1870). Quoted in Immanuel Velikovsky Earth in Collision (1950) p.333 [2] Plutarch Lives “The Life of Numa”, xvii. Price Nutrition and Physical Disease 1939 p.83. |
Among the Australian Aborigine the story is the same: The rapid degeneration of the Australian Aborigines after the adoption of the government’s modern foods provides demonstration that should be infinitely more convincing than animal experimentation. It should be a matter not only of concern but deep alarm that human beings can degenerate physically so rapidly by the use of certain types of nutrition, particularly the dietary products used so generally by modern civilization.[1] If the food we eat is not good for us why do we do it? Is a so-called healthy diet a lie? 40% of American adults are obese. A further 33% are overweight.[2] Unravelling the Lie One of the first things you notice about the lie is that it is either attempts to forget catastrophes that took place in the past (the theory of evolution) or it perpetuates suffering (as with the food we eat). We will go into this paradoxical desire to forget past trauma and compulsion to perpetuate suffering later. For the moment notice how similar the lie is to the Buddha’s first Noble Truth that says dukkha (suffering) is an innate characteristic of existence in the realm of samsara (illusion).[3] In other words suffering and the lie go hand in hand. Because the illusion is so pervasive, once in, it is hard to see it. So let us keep going for the moment in order to improve our sight. If we are sick because of the food we eat what about ways to regain our health? Vaccines are encouraged by governments all over the world as the route to better health for a growing number of illnesses. Again perhaps you will be surprised then to hear that vaccine producers are immune from prosecution for any harm their vaccines cause. The immunity was granted after a spate of litigation in the 1970s and 1980s over the damage caused to people from vaccination.[4] How is it that what is touted as a major means of improving health is so dangerous that vaccine makers cannot afford to defend their products in court? Are vaccines another example of the lie? Does a major form of healthcare create the exact opposite of genuine health? Is this not what a lie does, create an upside down world? What about government itself? We consider ourselves lucky to live in democracies where the majority chooses who is in office. So like me, you may find it unsettling to realise that major decisions are unlikely to be made by our elected representatives. I spent the early part of 2020 writing letters to our Prime Minister outlining the evidence that the alleged COVID-19 virus was no more lethal than a bad strain of the flu. As I began to realise that factual evidence was not driving the behaviour of the New Zealand government or any other around the world except Sweden I began to ask myself why. The primary answer I came to is contained in this book. But along the way I was startled to learn more about a Matrix I had spent my entire life within without ever seeing it. (Two years on and I continue to free fall down the rabbit hole with revelations about our indebted slave status provided by the work of Kenneth Scott.[5]) As I mentioned, I realise now I did not want to see it! In relation to the way we are governed my eyes were opened by the exhaustive evidence, both written and from hundreds of witnesses put together by Dr Stephen Greer. Greer discovered that the real power rests with so called Unacknowledged Special Access Projects.[6] Greer’s evidence shows that since at least the 1950’s these groups control the media and the information shared with even the heads of government. Presidents are assassinated or impeached if they take initiatives that are contrary to the interests of the people who run the Projects. In other words the idea that the people we elect make the important decisions is also likely to be a lie. As I digested this new information I felt as sick as Neo after he had taken the red pill. Yet the experience was also fascinating. I wanted to understand the illusion, how it is built and what perpetuates it. So I dived deeper. Secret Never Told Greer discovered that Unacknowledged Special Access Projects developed initially from UFO sightings by aircraft (Allied and German) during the Second World War. The presence of UFOs quickly became the number one intelligence secret, more important than the H bomb itself. As a 1953 letter from the Director of the CIA to the Director of the Psychological Strategy Board (psychological warfare) shows plans for public dis-information concerning UFOs was already well underway: Subject: Flying Saucers I am transmitting to the National Security Council a proposal (TAB A) in which it is concluded that the problems connected with unidentified flying objects appear to have implications for psychological warfare as well as for intelligence and operations. The background for this view is presented in some detail in TAB B. I suggest that we discuss at an early board meeting the possible offensive or defensive utilization of these phenomena for psychological warfare purposes.[7] Ask yourself why are visits by other civilisations seen as such a threat to those who control Unacknowledged Special Access Projects? Clearly these extra-terrestrial civilisations are more technologically and spiritually advanced than our own. If they were a threat I would not be writing these words. Greer claims the ultimate card to the mis-information around UFOs is a mock invasion of Earth, a red flag event to convince humanity that the threat is real.[8] If Greer is right isn’t it remarkable the extraordinary effort going into maintaining this part of the lie? Why? Unacknowledged Special Access Projects also know how to tap the zero point field (ZPF) for unlimited energy. These devices can fit into a small box.[9] If this technology was released to the world Greer claims it would in a generation transform humanity. Every village, however remote would have its own free power source to draw water, irrigate fields and provide transport. They would eliminate the need for oil, coal, nuclear fuel and the infrastructure of power lines. Cars built on the 19th century technology of the internal combustion engine would no longer be required or the roads upon which they drive. Most pollution, most poverty would no longer exist. People would have far greater autonomy and self-reliance. By now I hope this is starting to sound familiar. Whether it is the food we eat or world-transforming free energy technology we seem unable to realise our greatest good. Why is this? Can we blame a global elite that seeks control at all costs? It seems hard to blame someone else for the food I eat. In any case is the presence of such an elite not simply another facet of the pervasive illusion we call human society? We have already seen how a long time ago the Buddha noticed the relationship between illusion (samsara) and suffering (dukkha). I hope the experiences I share convince you to discover the secret never told for yourself. It seems to me the entire purpose of the illusion is to be a catalyst to rediscover who we really are. To put this another way: why can’t Beowulf in Robert Zemeckis’s 2007 movie of that name tell the truth about what he found in Grendel’s lair? Just what is this secret that cannot be told? Be prepared for ecstasy. [1] Ibid. p. 162. Chapter One - Desire |
Imagine a huge sky blue sphere shimmering in front of you. It is perfectly still yet feels alive with the potent energy of the universe. You reach out and gently touch it with your finger. Ripples shudder through it like skin caressed by a lover. You want to experience that pleasure for yourself and step inside the sphere. It is like a virtual reality. Each way you turn there is nothing but the infinite blue depths of the sphere. You are at the centre of this world and with your mind’s eye you curve the top and bottom of the sphere so that it becomes a donut or torus with the centre at your heart. In this way whatever happens to the sphere you also feel inside – outside and inside have become one. |
There is no need for touch anymore. You simply breathe your awareness into the torus. In whatever form you have previously known ecstasy it is nothing like this. The simple presence of the infinite blue sends waves of pure pleasure into your belly, groin and perineum. It is like having an orgasm that does not stop. The pleasure is intoxicating. Can anything be this good?
Yes it can and while the intense pleasure stays in your lower body your heart opens with an ache that makes it hard to decide whether it’s pain or pleasure. As it opens you enter the overwhelming experience of pure love and appreciation for what is taking place. The joy rises to your mind which becomes the same infinite blue space of the sphere, a place of perfect peace, clarity and unremitting delight. Walter Russell wrote that God is desire.[1] You now know what he meant. It looks like there is nothing there – just the infinite blue of the Void. And indeed there is nothing, that is, no created thing because you are at the zero point field (ZPF), the sea of energy that underlies all existence. People have said there is enough energy in one teaspoon of the ZPF to light the United States for a year. Spacecraft draw upon the ZPF as their energy source. The Buddhists call this emptiness Sunyata, the Void. It is the goal of their practise. To experience the emptiness of all things. To experience the ZPF that gives rise to all created form is the experience of Enlightenment. It is like being inside the code that generates the reality of a computer game. In the ZPF even space and time do not exist. The German philosopher Immanuel Kant was mistaken is assigning them categorical existence. Like everything else space and time arise from the ZPF and desire. And we now know what that feels like! In short this most beautiful, intoxicating experience of desire is the very Source of the universe. Its immediate response to your slightest touch is the meaning of unconditional love. Desire brings worlds into being. Without the most pleasurable sensation possible there are no worlds and no experience. Pleasure and the creation of worlds are one. This Source is who you are! Try this exercise: When you see blue sky breathe into it. How far can you go into its infinite depths? What does it feel like? What sensations does it produce in your body and where? Now blink twice and find the torus gone. There’s just you and your body. You are back in the Matrix. Back in the Illusion. You are back living a lie. The world now is what you can see, touch, smell. Notice that sense of unease in your body again. The familiar anxiety in your mind. Back in your habitual reality think now of desire. What do you see? The inviting body of a beautiful woman or hulk of a man? Chocolate? Winning a race? Another drink? Notice how different this experience of desire is to that within the torus. It now surprises you how fleeting the feeling is. The orgasm, the taste of chocolate on the tongue, crossing the finish line first. You reach for more but the second orgasm is not as good as the first, the third bar of chocolate has none of the appeal of the first bite and the trophies gathering dust on the mantle no longer capture the exhilaration of the original win. In fact desire can turn very nasty. It can become less of a pleasure and more of a craving. What is addiction but the compulsive search for the pleasure of desire? The Buddhists word for craving is trisna. It is trisna they say that perpetuates the suffering of humanity. It’s the endless search for a fulfilment that can never be found. Disgusted with the way desire ruins their lives many people turn away and want no more. They choose to stay in the matrix for fear of the disappointment those desires bring. Stuck between two unpalatable options they choose a wasteland over the compulsion of unfulfilled cravings. Incredible isn’t it? In the torus desire is pure intoxicating pleasure. It is the creative impulse that literally creates worlds. Absolutely everything has its origin in this overwhelmingly blissful experience. On the other hand outside the torus desire and its pleasure are at best fleeting. As worst they are the source of compulsive addiction and indeed, according to Buddhists, the source of all human suffering. Yet it is the same creative energy in both situations. So what makes the difference between bliss and agony? It may surprise you to learn the difference between these two experiences of desire – that of the torus and that of the Matrix come down to one simple question – who are you? It is a question of identity - who or what you believe yourself to be. [1] Walter Russell. The Message of the Divine Iliad Vol. 1. (1971). |
